As announced previously, Yusef Abdul Lateef Sahib passed away earlier this week in Amherst, MA. Inna lillahe wa Inna Alaihe Rajeoon (to Allah we belong, and to Him shall we return).

Lateef sahib's Janaza Prayers will be offered after Juma Prayer (1:15 PM) today at Baitur Rahman Mosque, Silver Spring, MD InshaAllah. Burial is planned for tomorrow (Saturday) at 11:00 AM InshaAllah.

Alhaj Dr. Yusef Abdul Lateef accepted Ahmadiyyat in 1949 and twice made the pilgrimage to Mecca. Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (RA) used to mention his amazing spirit and exemplary sacrifice turning his lifestyle from a world-class Jazz musician to a humble servant of the Promised Messiah(AS).
