Dear Parents AA,

My name is Waleed Naseem and I am nazim atfal. I would like to discuss a few administrative details with all of you.

1. NEW SYLLABUS. The new taleem (educational) syllabus has now been split into four groups (7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15) This can be accessed at: http://www.atfalusa.org/departments/taleem-education

The syllabus still comes from the religious education textbook edition 5, which is also available online at the same url address as above. If your child does not have the book, please let me know and we will order it for him. Most if not all students should have it already.

2. TARBIYYAT. Each month the national atfal team prepares two tarbiyyat powerpoint presentations, which are used in our weekly classes. For example, last week was writing a letter to Huzoor and next week will be regarding truth.

3. TEST. This month students will be assessed on basic knowledge. A test will be administered at the end of the month. All students are required to take this examination. I will attach a study guide at the end of this email. Please review pertinent information from the study guide and the religious education textbook for preparation.

4. LOCAL IJTEMA. The national atfal team has requested all majalis to hold a local ijtema at the end of March in preperation for regional and then national ijtema. I will attach the ijtema syllabus at the end of this email. The local ijtema results will not affect participation in the regional event.

5. CHANDA. The atfal dues for the year are $12. You can either send them to class or mail them to the Khuddam Sec. Finance, Hashim Malik Sahib:
