As you already know, our own Atif Mian is now National Secretary Talim (education); he has put forth a new initiative, K-8 Math Challenge, focusing on the children of our Jamaat.
 
The initiative is based on research studies showing that early intervention and therefore mastery, especially in mathematics, helps lead to success in later years. The program is open to children from Kindergarten to 8th grade; and there are two ways to sign up for it:
 
(1) Through Jamaat Talim website; please follow instructions at http://www.educationahmadiyya.us/for-parents/.
or
(2) At U.S. Jalsa this Saturday, the Taleem department will hold a workshop with parents of all K-8 kids from 6:30-7:30 on Saturday 7/30/2016. Location will be announced at Jalsa. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend and sign up their sons AND daughters.
