I regret to inform you that Nasira Begum Sahiba, mother of Mateen Zafar sahib, passed away from heart attack while visiting Toronto. Inna lillahe wa Inna Ilaihe Raje'oon.

Nasira Begum Sahiba was the wife of (late) Shaikh Hassan Ahmed of Karachi, and daughter of (late) Bashir Ahmed Khan, and Granddaughter of (late) Mian Shahamat Khan sahib who was a companion of The Promised Messiah^(AS). She had a deep love of khilafat and was regular in the 5 daily prayers. She leaves behind 3 sons and 3 daughters, some of whom live in Toronto Canada.

Please remember the deceased in your prayers that Allah ta'la grant her high status in paradise, and give strength to the family to bear this loss with patience and fortitude. Ameen.
