Date: October 20th 2019

Jalsa Salana Qadian is taking place this year from Friday, Dec 27- Sunday, Dec 29.  Under the instruction and guidance of Respected Ameer Sahib USA, the Office of General Secretary is coordinating effort to help acquire Indian visas for our members in the U.S.  We have had several meetings with officials at the Indian embassy in Washington DC and they have assured us of their cooperation.

Applications for indian visa should be submitted according to procedure listed below (by category) and provide us your indian visa request number no later than October 17, 2019 because that is required to submit in Interior Ministry India for Clearance Certificate.

I.  HOW TO APPLY:

Everyone applying for an Indian visa in the US has to apply online through CKGS by going to the website www.in.ckgs.us.  The entire application process should take around 3 hours to complete.  The application is simple for Ahmadi applicants that have no Pakistan connection.  But the application can be very complex for Ahmadi applicants who are of Pakistani origin.*

*Pakistani Origin = The Indian Government considers someone to be of Pakistani origin if you, your parents, or grandparents have ever been Pakistani Citizens; this includes citizens of Bangladesh who themselves, their parents or grandparents were citizens of East Pakistan (now Bangladesh).

Please read this section carefully before starting to fill out your application.

The entire process will start when you fill out the Jalsa Salana Qadian Registration Form and submit it as soon as possible. This document is available at https://forms.gle/ng3URtynehYUQijR7.
