Pir Fazalur Rehman Sahib, father of Bushra Safee sahiba of Willingboro, passed away earlier today in Pakistan, Inna lillahe wa inna ilehay rajioon. May Allah elevate his status in paradise. The other sad news is about Sahibzadi Amtul Rasheed Begum sahiba of Potomac, Maryland, who also passed away earlier today. Inna lillahe wa inna ilehay rajioon. Amtul Rasheed sahiba was the Grand daughter of Hazrat Masih Maud and Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Awwal; daughter of Hazrat Musleh Maud; and wife of (Late) Mian Abdul Raheem Ahmad sahib. Burial is planned for Rabwah, InshaAllah.

It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that we learned a few hours ago that our beloved, respected and honorable Dr. Pir Fazalur Rehman Sahib of Sanghar Sindh has passed away in Karachi around 9:00 AM on 20-September-2013 at the age of 93. He suffered a massive heart attack and passed away very peacefully in a hospital near his current residence in Model Colony, Karachi, Pakistan. He was the father of my wife Bushra Safee Sahiba, Vineland, New Jersey.
 
He served Jamat Ahmadiyya Sanghar, Sindh as Amir for a long time and served Jama'at in many other capacities. In fact he was the one who initiated that Jama'at in the late 1940's. Moreover, he served the community and mankind as a physician with his God gifted skills and treated many patients without charging and with his personal resources. He lead an examplary life as an Ahmadi, as a father and above all as a human being. Now in the last few years at such an old age he suffered and had to go through the Shahadat of his two young sons at an old age; namely Dr. Mujeebur Rehman Sahib and Pir Habibur Rehamn Sahib one after an other. He showed a remarkable patience at both shadats and told every one to do the same. May Allah, swt accept his sacrifices for the cause of Jama'at. Amen.
 
May Allah raise his status in the hereafter and provide solace to all of us who are left behind. Amen. Please remeber us all in your prayers.
