Dear Moms, Dads, and members
 
Building on the success of the weekly Children’s Sunday class, we are striving to make it more regular, and meaningful with the goal to create a strong Ahmadi Muslim identity among Atfal. Please review below information:
 
1. Sunday Classes (atfalclass.atfalusa.org)
    a. Every Sunday at 11AM. Lunch will be served after each class. If class is cancelled, parents of registered students will be notified.
    b. Dress Code: white polo shirt, black pants, cap, and atfal scarf (details at atfalclass.atfalusa.org/dress-code-2 ).
    c. Atfal Package (shirt, cap, savings container for sadqa, and sports bag) was distributed to atfal (free) at Jalsa 2014. If you did not receive one, please contact Waqas Asghar at 609-781-0130 or gujrat786@PROTECTED.
    d. Sports:  Raheel Syed, MKA Sec. Sehat-e-Jismani, will continue to organize sports for boys, after each class.
    e. Parent meeting with teachers Qanita Zafar and Subooha Zafar and myself will be held on 12/21/2014 (during lunch after Family Day function)

2. Trips/sleepover:
    a. Visit a church:  Last year we visited a synagogue, this year Suleman Sheikh has arranged visit to a Church in Cherry Hill (402 Kings Hwy) at 1 PM tomorrow.
    b. New Year Sleep Over:  December 31st at the Mosque (Contact Naseem Ahmad 609-444-7516)
    c. Ski Trip:  Regional sky trip is being on January 11, 2015, at Camelback Mountain, PA. www.mkaeastregionalskitrip.com  Contacts: Usman Sheikh, 609-540-6264.

3 Chandas:
    a. Waqf-e-Jadid, Due December 31.  The goal is 100% participation including those under 7 years of age; no minimum $, but to become Nanha Mujahid please pay $50 to Sec. Finance, Nibras Mir (48 Peregrine Dr., Voorhees, NJ 08043).
    b. Atfal Chanda: $20/year. Please pay by March 2015 to MKA Sec. Finance, Hashim Malik (609-367-2178)

4. Volunteer Opportunity:
Humanity First Food Pantry opens at Al-Nasr Mosque on third Saturday of every month. Please have your child volunteer from 10 AM to 3 PM. This counts towards community service hours on resume. Contact MKA Sec.Khidmate Khalq Mabroor Saqib (856-776-9749) for details.
