Assalamo Alaikum waRahmatullah,

Nasira Begum Sahiba, mother of Tahseen Khokhar sahib of Willingboro Jamaat, passed away yesterday in Pakistan after a brief illness. Inna Lillahé wa Inna Eleihé Rajioon. She was 80 years old, and is survived by 8 children and many grand and great-grand children. Tehseen sahib’s father, Mubarak Ahmad Khokhar sahib passed away about 5 months ago.

Nasira Begum sahiba’s Janaza Gha’ib (funeral prayer in absentia) will be offered in Al-Nasr Mosque tomorrow after Family Day program (scheduled for 12 noon) insha’Allah.

As announced previously, our next Family day is this Sunday 2/15/2015. In addition to the usual program (starting at 12 noon, followed by Zohr prayer at 1:30PM and lunch), we will vote on Shura proposals and hold election for delegates to represent WIllingboro Jamaat at upcoming Shura in Silver Spring MD on April 24. This election will take place immediately after Zohr prayer, insha'Allah.

Please send your proposal in writing by Saturday so it can be presented for vote on Sunday. Also, please let me know if you have any question or need a copy of Shura Regulations or proposals discussed during last 3 years.
