In the Name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful
Respected members of the US Jama’at
Assalamo Alaikum Warehmatullahe Wabarakatuhu
I hope you are doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I feel pleasure in sharing with you some great news regarding Humanity First. On January 24-25, 2015, Humanity First hosted an international conference at Masjid Baitul Futuh, London (UK) where more than 130 delegates representing 15 countries including 21 delegates from USA attended. Aim of the conference was to brainstorm Humanity First’s future course of action under the guidance of Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih V (ab) and to commemorate 20th anniversary of establishment of Humanity First International.
We were very blessed to have our beloved Hazoor-e-Anwar (ab) with us at the dinner event ceremony on Saturday, January 24th where Hazoor-e-Anwar’s (ab) made his historic speech to the HF delegates. Huzoor’s address contained clear guidelines for Humanity First on how to move forward with serving the creation of Allah without any bias and under the guidance of Khilafat-e-Ahmdiyyah.
Full speech of Hazoor-e-Anwar’s (ab) which was delivered in English can be accessed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8xYMxCyPBE
Some key quotes from Hazoor-e-Anwar’s (ab) speech are:
“There are only two complete parts of faith. One is to love God and the other is to love mankind to such a degree that you consider the suffering and the trials and tribulations of others as your own and that you pray for them.”
“Quite a number of our volunteers come to meet me or write to me seeking prayers that their efforts may be blessed. And so as I said, this is a great distinguishing feature of our Jama’at that each and every act is conducted with only one sole motivation – to please Allah and to gain his pleasure. This is the spirit of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community that has been directly instilled by the Promised Messiahas.”
“The benefit of serving others is such that the Promised Messiahas has aligned human compassion with spirituality by stating that loving others is a great means of worship and a way to attain Allah’s blessing and rewards. Which Ahmadi Muslim could every wish to deprive himself or herself from Allah’s bounties and rewards?”
“Every member of Humanity First should remember that it is through prayer and prayer alone that his or her efforts will be blessed. All positive results are due to Allah’s blessings… This is the very reason that our efforts are continually blessed and Insha’Allah will always continue to be. Certainly, the scale of the work being done by Humanity First far exceeds the funds that it has available.”
I would also like to share a Statement of Hazoor-e-Anwar (ab) Regarding SADQA TO HUMANITY FIRST:
During Waqf-e-Nau Lajna class in Germany, one lajna member asked Hazoor-e-Anwar (ab) regarding Sadqa. Hazoor-e-Anwar’s (ab) liked that she gives Sadqa every day and mentioned that he also do the same. Hazoor-e-Anwar (ab) told her different ways of paying Sadqa and emphasized the fact that if it is given to Humanity First projects which are ongoing such as orphanage, hospitals or others, then it becomes Sadqa Jaria which means you give money once and keep getting rewarded because the project is ongoing. In closing, as Hadhrat Khalifatul Massih V (ab) mentioned that our success depends solely upon prayers, Humanity First team request your continued prayers for the success of these projects. Also as beloved Huzoor-e-Anwar (ab) stated in his address to the HF delegates, “Every person should utilize his individual talents or expertise for the sake of others. For example, doctors can offer their medical services, teachers can provide education, engineers can offer their skills, whilst those people blessed with wealth can and should utilize it for the sake of others,”
If you would like to volunteer your time, or would like to donate any amount to help in any of the above mentioned projects or programs please send me an email or visit our website at: http://usa.humanityfirst.org.
I would specifically like to extend my most sincere thanks to our auxiliaries and associations who have been wonderful in providing their support to the efforts done by Humanity First. I thank all Presidents and every member of jamaat for your continued prayers and support.
Wassalam
