During the last session of Jalsa Salana USA on July 31st, 2016 with the permission of Respected Ameer Sahib, I made an urgent appeal to all members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA regarding the Nasir Hospital in Guatemala being built under the direction and advice of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Khamis (aba).

The Nasir Hospital is a $2.7 million hospital which will serve nearly 2 million people of the Sactepequez region of Guatemala. Construction of the hospital began on June 4th, 2016 after laying the foundation stone sent by our beloved Hazur (aba) with his prayers. We are aiming to complete construction by September 2017. However, we are still facing a shortage of $1.4 million which is needed over the next few months in order to make timely installments to contractors.

I request every member of the Jama’at to say "Labbaik" at the call of our beloved Imam (aba) to help our fellow human beings in Guatemala. Every dollar you donate is Sadqa Jaria because this hospital will Insha’Allah continue to serve generations to come.

I would like to urge all members to also donate on behalf of your elders and loved ones. When you contribute on their behalf, the rewards from Almighty Allah will continue to reach them as long as this hospital is serving the poor people of Guatemala.

We have distributed $2.7 million into 1080 cost units of $2,500 each. We have raised 520 units so far and still have to raise 560 additional units. This in a way means that every person who donates one unit or $2,500 is sponsoring equivalent to a hospital bed or some component of the hospital.

As Muslims, we are taught to do charity quietly but we also want to leave some examples from our lives for the younger generations for Tarbiyyat purposes. Therefore, Humanity First team is honoring our respected donors who donate at least One Unit equivalent to $2,500 through a Personalized Commemorative Crystal Plaque which will bear the name of the donor or dedication to living or deceased loved ones. An example of the plaque is attached.

If you donate $5,000, it will be equivalent to 2 units or 2 plaques and $7,500 will be 3 units and 3 plaques. You can dedicate each unit to a different person or you can dedicate all units to one person.

This plaque can be put in your office to promote your support for the noble causes of Humanity First USA or can be displayed in your house as a reminder to your family and younger generations of the sacrifice they all made at the call of our beloved Imam (aba) to serve humanity. The plaque will encourage our children to take our example and make similar sacrifices when they are ready to do so.

Please participate in this Sadqa Jaria immediately as a significant amount of funding is needed in the next two months.
