Kindly see below letter regarding Jalsa Ameen Ceremony from National Secretary Talweemul Quran & Waqfe Ardhi, Dr. Zaheeruddin Mansoor sahib.

I hope and pray you and your membership are doing well by the grace of Allah Ta'alah.

This is to inform you that during Jalsa Salana 2017, as in previous years, Department of Taleemul Qur'an and Waqf e Ardhi will inshallah conduct Ameen ceremony for children who finished their first round of recitation of Holy Qur'an since last Jalsa. Please encourage members to register their children by the deadline May 25, 2017.

It has been brought to the department's attention that some children, whose parents may not have had timely resources available to them or their children, have only recently received the opportunity to finish their first round of recitation of the Holy Qur'an. Some of these children are past the 12 year age limit criteria that had been in place for participating in Ameen ceremony at Jalsa Salana. 

When our Jalsa is graced by the presence of beloved Huzur (a.b.a), we must abide by the instructions received from the center. However, this summer we will include children who are past the 12 year cut off to allow for maximum participation, especially by those who have had a more challenging journey in this cause. 

Please have parents register their children as soon as possible so age-appropriate arrangements can be made as needed, especially if the group includes older girls, as Ameen ceremony is traditionally held in men's jalsa-gah.
