Subject: [Al-Nasr Mosque] Ameen Cermony @ Jalsa Jul 13-15, 2018
Date: April 21st 2018

Dear Respected Members of Promised Messiahas’s Jama’at,

As-Salamu 'Alaikum wa Rahmatullah

Throughout the years, ‘Ameen’ ceremonies have been held by families to acknowledge their child's achievement of completing the Holy Qur’an, for the first time. These ceremonies were practiced by the Promised Messiah (as) not only to celebrate, but to provide a form of encouragement. For the same reasons, the USA Jamaat annually holds these ceremonies during Jalsa Salana.

Department of Taleemul Qur'an will conduct the Ameen Ceremony, during Jalsa Salana 2018, Insha’Allah. The Department’s number one duty will be to ensure that the children who participate in the Ameen Ceremony are able to recite the Holy Qur'an correctly. To ensure this objective, the Department has established the following rules, and humbly asks parents for their full cooperation.

It is mandatory to register the child using the link given below. Registration will close on April 25, 2018. No names will be accepted after 4/25.

Child must complete first reading of Holy Quran by June 25, 2018. .

The Department will assign mentors to the registered children. Assigned mentors will contact parents to schedule mandatory practice time for each child and listen to the recitation of the registered children. This will be the parents’ responsibility to make sure that their child is in contact with his/her assigned teacher. However, if parents cannot get hold of the teacher then immediately contact Sister Attiya Ghani Sahiba 678-389-4888.

Parents should ensure that their child has completed the first recitation of the Holy Qur’an by June 25, 2018. The mentor will only help in correcting the pronunciation by reviewing basic rules and listening to short portions. By June 20th mentor will inform the department whether the child is ready for Ameen Ceremony. Above rules have been established for the purpose of guarding the sanctity of the Holy Qur’an. Parents are humbly requested to cooperate with the Department and pray for the success of the Ameen Ceremony.
