Respected All

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

I am informing you with great sorrow and grief that our dear elder of Philadelphia Jama'at Respected Bilal Abdus Salaam just passed away. Inna lillahhe Wa inna Alaihe Rajaoon.

He was having seizures in his brain which caused a lot of damage. He was on ventilator and Doctors called his family to declare that they were not able to do any thing in this condition. Doctors also told that they could turn off the tube whenever the family was comfortable. The family decided to take the tube off today.

He was 84 years old. He served the Jama'at in many capacities, especially served as Missionary in Baltimore.  He was actively involved in Tabligh and his love for Khalafat was unparalleled. May Allah Talha give him high rank in paradise and solace to bereaved family. Ameen.

Funeral and burial date and time will be announced after consulting with family.

Was-Salam,
Requesting Prayers,
Mukhtar Ahmad Malhi
