If you need transportation to or from the national Ijtima venue—Baitur Rahman Mosque, Silver Spring, MD—upon your arrival/departure please submit transportation request with your travel information as soon as possible. This will enable the transportation team to serve you better.

The Ijtima Transportation Request portal will be closed after Thursday morning, September 19. Please send your request now. After closing of the Transportation Request portal, please contact Nazim Transportation, Zamir Mirza at 703-839-3254 or zam1960@yahoo.com.

Final Reminders for National Ijtima

The registration and transportation request portals will be closing on Thursday, September 19. If you need to register or request accommodation/transportation for the Ijtima, please do so ASAP. After closing of these portals, please contact the respective Nazim Ijtima listed below if you need to register or request accommodation or transportation.

What to bring:

• Sleeping bag and pillow (sleeping bags will be provided for guests who are flying and can’t pack one)
• Toiletries (toothbrush, floss, deodorant, contact solution, etc.)
• Medications and prescriptions
• Cap (for Salat)
• Light jacket (nights/mornings may be chilly)
• Enough change of clothes
• Sleepwear
• Towel
• Flip flops (for bathroom/shower)
• Sneakers/comfortable shoes and sportswear (for sports and 5K jog/walk on Saturday morning)
• Cell phone charger
